The men’s tennis team struggled this past weekend against a pair of top 20-opponents. In two matches, the Pioneers were only able to claim two points behind the performance of Fabio Biasion, who won a singles match on Saturday afternoon. what went wrong
No. 16 Illinois dominated DU in the singles competition on Friday, beating the Pioneers six out of six times. No. 17 Oklahoma beat No. 39 Denver the next day as Yannick Weihs and Enej Bonin lost in super-tiebreakers.

what went right
DU extended its win streak to two when they crushed nearby foe Colorado State last weekend. The Pioneers took three doubles matches and six singles matches to complete the sweep.
what went wrong
The Pioneers didn’t lose a set, completing a perfect weekend against the Rams.

Men’s swimmer Kyle Milberg earned a pair of second-place finishes in the 100-backstroke and the 200-backstroke last weekend as the men’s swimming and diving team was able to knock off Northwestern and Ohio State, but fell to Iowa and Notre Dame in the Shamrock Invitational.
what went wrong
Despite Grace Kittle’s second-place finishes in the 100-breaststroke and 200-breaststroke, the women’s team finished in fourth place behind Ohio State, Northwestern and Notre Dame. Kittle also helped the relay team to a second-place finish.
