To the DU Community,

First, let me express my most sincere apologies for any offense taken from Stuart Cobb’s most recent article, “The seven women you meet at DU.”

It was never our intent to offend or upset our readers. It was meant to be read as satire.

As stated in our staff box and online, the views expressed in the opinions section and by columnists and contributing writers do not necessarily reflect the views of the Clarion, or the faculty, the staff or the administration at DU.

It was an error of judgment on my part, and for that, I am sorry. As students, we are all learning from our mistakes, and hope to do a better job in the future.

Our Opinions section of the paper, as always, is open to all students who wish to submit their pieces. If you feel your voice is not being heard, I encourage you to take a stand and submit something.

To all our readers and those that have commented, thank you for expressing your concerns, and for reading the Clarion.
