Parent of student has seizure
On Monday, May 5, at 12 p.m. Campus Safety responded to the report of an ill party at the Ricks Center. An on-scene investigation revealed the parent of a Ricks Center student had a seizure at 11:15 a.m. Medical assistance was declined. The parent was driven home by an unidentified party.
Harrassment in Driscoll Center
On Tuesday, May 6, at 3:50 p.m. a student reported harassment at the Driscoll Center. The student reported he was walking on the bridge at 3:30 p.m. when he was threatened by another student. Disposition pending report review.
Parking lot K gate arm broken
On Wednesday, May 7, at 12:55 a.m. a Campus Safety officer monitoring video surveillance observed vandalism in parking lot K near the Driscoll Center. An on-scene investigation revealed a student broke the parking lot gate arm.
False ID,
marijuana taken On Wednesday, May 8, at 1:10 a.m. Campus Safety and Denver Police Department were investigating an incident in the 1800 block of South High Street when they discovered an underage student in possession of false identification card and marijuana. Denver Police Department confiscated the contraband and arrested the student for possession of a false identification card and marijuana.
Altercation at
Centennial Halls
On Wednesday, May 7, at 11:32 p.m. Campus Safety and Denver Police Department responded to the report of an altercation at Centennial Halls. An on-scene investigation revealed five students were involved in a verbal altercation. One student admitted striking another student, but no charges were filed. Denver Police Department interviewed and released all of the students involved.
Intoxicated
student to detox
On Thursday, May 8, at 1:05 a.m. Campus Safety observed a student who appeared to be intoxicated at Centennial Halls. An on-scene investigation revealed an underage student was severely intoxicated. The student was in possession of a false identification card. Campus Safety confiscated the identification card. Denver Police Department transported the student to a detox facility for medical treatment.
Faculty member harassed at Sturm
On Tuesday, April 29, at 12:30 p.m. a DU faculty member reported harassment at Sturm Hall.
A Campus Safety report revealed an unaffiliated party had been attempting to contact the faculty member by e-mail, phone and in person.
Student throws rocks at lights
On Thursday, May 8, at 1:49 a.m. a Campus Safety officer responding to another incident observed a party vandalizing University owned property. An on-scene investigation revealed a student was throwing rocks at lights at the entrance of Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. Campus Safety attempted to contact the student, but he fled the area on foot. Campus Safety later contacted the student inside Centennial Halls.
Urinating in public
On Friday, May 9, at 1:07 a.m. a Campus Safety officer was conducting a routine patrol in the 2200 block of East Asbury Avenue when he observed a party urinating in public. An on-scene investigation revealed the party was an underage and severely intoxicated student. Denver Cares transported the student to a detox facility for medical treatment.
