The University of Denver’s chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the most prestigious honorary academic society in the United States, elected to membership 18 juniors and 39 seniors at a meeting on May 10. The new members were chosen on the basis of high academic achievement and the breadth and challenge of their course programs in the liberal arts and sciences.
The new members will be initiated in ceremonies in the new HRTM building at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, before the chapter’s annual banquet. Chapter president, Prof. Susan Sadler, Biological Sciences, will preside.
