The summit comes after a series of events at DU to promote diversity on campus. The Senate is developing a Diversity Pledge and has paired with the Center for Multicultural Excellence on discussions about minority students’ perspective of the DU community.
Since last year’s Princeton Review rating of DU as the college with the least race and class interaction, the Senate and the school have been taking steps to improve DU’s image.
