If you’re craving a nice piece of steak, and you’re not getting your daily dose of iron in the school cafeteria, then I suggest going to the Cherry Creek Grill steakhouse. It may be a bit pricey for college students, but your meat craving will surely be satisfied.

The Cherry Creek Grill provides both a relaxing and glorified western appeal. The restaurant is arranged with dim, romantic lighting and wood mahogany floors. The restaurant also offers table and booth seating. The booths have leather, ruby covered seats and a large, sturdy wooden table.

There are also displays of Native American and contemporary artwork. It is the perfect combination for a modern, western restaurant with club finesse.

The service at the Grill is another great aspect. It’s timely, respectable and classy. All of the waiters and waitresses want to ensure that you are comfortable, and that their service meets your expectations.

Though the restaurant does not take reservations, they do offer an “exclusive” waiting list. Expect to wait at least a minimum of ten minutes even if you put your name on the list.

However, if you find that you have waited long enough, don’t be shy to say something to the host. The host will make sure that you will be seated as soon as possible. Remember, this is a very popular and trendy steakhouse. Do not be too surprised that they are overwhelmingly busy.

The Cherry Creek Grill would not be complete if they didn’t serve some of the best cuts of steak around town. Their menu does not exclusively focus on “beef,” though.

You’re in luck if your date isn’t a fan of prime rib or New York strip. They also offer a selection of rotisserie-style chicken, market priced fish and delicious unique salads, soups and appetizers.

The prime rib is definitely a favorite on the menu. It is an impressive, slow roasted rib served to perfection with the appropriate amount of fat trimmed from the meat.

It is also lightly seasoned with salt and served on the bone with sides of garlic and scallion mashed potatoes, horseradish and roast beef au jus for $23.

The porterhouse steak is also another excellent cut for about the same price. This traditional cut is char-broiled and served with a side of roasted tomatoes with a blue cheese topping. However, if you’re not a fan of blue cheese you can substitute it with balsamic vinaigrette, or you can have the tomatoes plain.

If you want something lighter, then their Macho salad is the faultless choice. This salad is served with roasted chicken, avocado and cornbread croutons. The Macho salad can be served either as an appetizer or as an entrCB)e.

Another specialty of Cherry Creek Grill is their beef baby back ribs served with a side of peanut and cilantro flavored coleslaw. This dish is wonderful and will have your taste buds soaring.

On average, you will be spending $20 to $30 for a mouth-watering piece of steak. For chicken or fish, the average price would range from $15 to $20. The typical price for their salads, soups and appetizers is $6 to $12.

The telephone number for the Cherry Creek Grill is 303-377-969 and they are located on 184 Steele Street, off of 2nd in the Cherry Creek area.
