I’m not sure if this is the appropriate place for this, but I am a fourth year doctoral student in the counseling psychology department. As a part of a research grant with the National Coalition for Problem Gambling, we are offering services at the Counseling and Educational Services Clinic both for students and for individuals in the community facing this problem. National Gambling Awareness Week is March 6-12, and we would like to offer our research team, headed by Dr. Bobbi Vollmer, to be available for an interview if the Clarion would find that beneficial. It has been brought to our attention that the issue of compulsive or problem gambling may be present on the DU campus and therefore may be of interest to the Clarion.
