I heard Senator Kerry say Friday that President Bush has done nothing to increase the min. wage. Kerry said as President, he would increase the minimum wage ‘for women’ so they could live above poverty and feed their children. Would you like to know what Kerry did the last time, in 1999, when the Senate voted to increase the minimum wage? He voted “NO’. So, women who make $6.15 today, can thank other members of Congress for voting ‘yes’, but not Senator Kerry. He is saying what he thinks women want to hear.
