Dear Editor,I am writing in support of the Fastracks initiative to expand Light-Rail and bus service in the Metro area. I am concerned we have taken this long to implement an initiative and even more distressed when I hear that there are even a few people opposing Fastracks. I wonder, what could be more important than creating a system that will allow residents to travel more freely, on a transit system that is less harmful to the environment; and at the same time increases economic viability of the Metro area as a whole. How often to voters have the chance to vote on something that helps the environment, public health and the economy at the same time.
