Egg raid

On Saturday, Sept. 20, at 3:16 a.m., a DU student reported three unidentified males threw eggs at him and two other DU students at The Ritchie Center. Campus Safety and Denver police responded. Denver police was unable to locate the suspects.

Car break in

On Friday, Sept. 19, at about 6:30 p.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) broke into her personal vehicle and stole personal property while it was parked and unattended in Lot C, north of Centennial Halls.

Campus Safety responded, completed an investigation, and advised the student to file a report with Denver police.

Frat assault

On Saturday, Sept. 20, at 3:50 p.m., a DU student reported that on Sept. 19, he was assaulted by three DU students in the driveway between the Law School and the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house. Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

Drunk and bitter

On Saturday, Sept. 20, at 2:35 a.m., an RA reported an underage and intoxicated DU student had vandalized windows at Johnson-McFarlane Hall. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation. The incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards for disposition.

Smells like pot?

On Saturday, Sept. 20, at 11:16 p.m., an RA reported an odor of marijuana coming from a residence at Centennial Halls. DCS responded and contacted the occupants of the residence who admitted to smoking marijuana.

The incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards for disposition.

Sloshed frosh

On Sunday, Sept. 21, at 6:03 a.m., a DU staff member reported an underage DU student was intoxicated and ill at Centennial Halls.

Campus Safety and paramedics responded. Paramedics transported the student to Porter Hospital for treatment.

Stolen car

On Tuesday, Sept. 23, at approximately 7:45 a.m., a DU staff member reported that her automobile had been stolen from the parking lot located behind the Delta Zeta sorority house. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation.

Verbal assault

On Tuesday, Sept. 23, at approximately 11:45 a.m., a DU student reported that he had been threatened by an unidentified male who is suspected to also be a student.

The incident reportedly occurred at Nelson Hall.

Bike taken

On Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 1:50 p.m., a D.U. student reported that his bicycle had been stolen from the bike rack on the east side of Centennial Towers.

Campus Safety investigation on scene determined that a u-lock had been utilized improperly to secure the bicycle. The student was advised to make a report with Denver police as well.
