To Whom it May Concern:

As I picked up this week’s edition of The Clarion I decided it must be an April Fools Day joke. But then I though, wait, it is October, not April.

The two headlines of this week’s edition make no sense. How is this possible? “Protests meet Moore” and “Campus Crusade draws hordes” are very inaccurate accounts of the given events. One, there were seven thousand people who went to hear Moore, verses the tops, fifty people who protested. So, the headline should read, “Thousands to greet Moore.” Do you realize that hordes means thousands of people- not twenty people? Please, do research and exert proper grammar and accurate statements in your articles.

This newspaper is an embarrassment to the DU student body. I am sure with more carefulness in your writing that the newspaper will represent an intelligent DU student body.

Sincerely,

Fareed Kurtz
