Swiped car radios

On Thursday, Feb. 27, at about 3:30 p.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) stole the car radio system from her personal vehicle while it was parked and unattended in Lot 111, next to La Chateau Apartments. Campus Safety completed an investigation.

On Friday, Feb. 28, at about 9:30 p.m. Campus Safety responded to a DU student who reported that while his vehicle was parked in Lot C. Someone had broken a window and removed the CD player and other property. The student was referred to Denver police for a report; Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

Trespasser

On Thursday, Feb. 27, at 3:31 p.m., an unidentified DU neighbor reported a suspicious male at Centennial Towers. Campus Safety detained the male for Denver police. Denver police transported the suspicious male to an unidentified homeless shelter.

Hit and run

On Sunday, March 2, at about 4:00 a.m. a DU student contacted Campus Safety regarding two vehicles being damaged by a hit and run vehicle while they were parked in Lot 103 (north of Cent. Halls). The hit and run driver has been identified and has met with the victims. A Denver police report has been completed.

Busted party

On Saturday, March 1, at about 1:00 a.m., Campus Safety and Denver police responded to a large party in the street outside of 2015 S. High St. Denver police arrested a DU student for disturbance. Denver police was able to disperse the rest of the crowd.

DU exposure

On Sunday, March 2, at about 7:15 p.m., Campus Safety and Denver Paramedics responded to the Gamma Phi Beta house on a report of an intoxicated party on the lawn. Paramedics examined the unaffiliated male and released him to the detox transport.

On Tuesday, March 4, at about 10:30 a.m., a DU staff member reported a DU student exposed himself to a DU custodial staff member at Centennial Halls. Campus Safety and Denver police responded. The incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards.

Ongoing frat crimes

On Tuesday, March 4, at 12:47 p.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) stole parts to the boiler in the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity house. Campus Safety completed an investigation.

On Wednesday, Mar. 5, at about 2:15 a.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) broke a window at the Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity house. Campus Safety completed an investigation.

Caught in the act

On Wednesday, Mar. 5, at 1:05 a.m., an RA reported alcoholic beverages were discovered in a residence belonging to underage DU students at Johnson-McFarlane Hall. The incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards.
