WHAT HAPPENS WHEN you mix fried chicken, five disgruntled Ivy League students and low-budget pornography?

You get Comedy Central’s first full-length movie: “Porn ‘n Chicken.”

The TV movie follows five Ivy League seniors as they prepare for graduation and find themselves analyzing their college years.

After realizing they have done nothing of interest or worth for the past four years, they decide to start a club with the goal of starting a revolution and, hopefully, a human sexuality major.

The movie follows the exploits of the club from their secret beginnings to their attempts to make their very own pornographic movie. Throughout, they face run-ins with professors, administration and news reporters with questionable ethics.

Although the movie is a member of the “American Pie” genre, it is a much more sophisticated and believable story. Perhaps this is because it is based on the true story of the original Porn ‘n Chicken Club from Yale University and their crazy adventures after they created a secret society dedicated to watching porn while eating chicken.

“Porn ‘n Chicken” was filmed last spring at Columbia University in New York, but still sticks to the Yale story that quickly became an urban legend last year.

The movie is not filled with well-known actors but the performances are all very entertaining and very believable. The actors look like college students playing college students instead of a thirty-something actor pretending to be twenty-one again.

Although there are moments where the plot becomes a little ridiculous, “Porn ‘n Chicken” is overall an excellent film filled with laughs and also moments of incredible wisdom. Well, wisdom according to a porn club.

“Porn ‘n Chicken” premiered on Comedy Central on Oct. 13 and there will be an encore presentation Sunday.
