Paraphernalia found

On Thursday, Oct. 10, at 11:00 p.m., an RA reported several students in possession of drug paraphernalia at Centennial Halls. Campus Safety responded and confiscated the paraphernalia. The students were referred to Citizenship and Community Standards Committee for disposition.

Party obstructed

On Friday, Oct. 11, at about 12:30 a.m., Denver Police Department responded to a loud music/party complaint in the 2500 block of South Franklin Street. A DU student was given a summons as a result of this incident. Campus Safety did not respond to this incident. Citizenship and Community Standards Committee was notified.

Intruder caught

On Friday, Oct. 11, at about 12:42 a.m., an RA reported an unaffiliated adult male was trespassing at Centennial Halls. Campus Safety responded, contacted the male and escorted the male out of the building without incident. The Department of Residence was notified.

Student sent to ER

On Friday, Oct. 11, at about 8 a.m., a DU student reported she was having chest pains at her residence in Johnson-McFarlane Hall. Campus Safety and paramedics responded. Paramedics transported the student to Porter Adventist Hospital for treatment.Underage drinking?

On Friday, Oct. 11, at about 9 p.m., Campus Safety reported an underage DU student in possession of alcoholic beverages in Lot C, north of Centennial Halls. The alcoholic beverages were referred to Citizenship and Community Standards Committee for disposition.

Student fire fighter

On Saturday, Oct. 12, at about 1:20 a.m., a DU student reported she extinguished a small fire in the grass near Lot 109, south of Johnson-McFarlane Hall. Campus Safety responded and verified that the fire was extinguished. Denver Fire Department was notified.

Bogus alarm

On Sunday, Oct. 13, at about 12:22 a.m., a fire alarm was activated at Centennial Halls. Campus Safety and Denver Fire Department responded. Investigation revealed it was a false alarm caused by a faulty smoke detector. Campus Safety Alarm Technician was notfied.

Noise objection

On Sunday, Oct. 13, at about 2:15 a.m., Denver Police Department responded to a disturbance complaint in the 2200 block of South Gilpin Street. A DU student was given a verbal warning as a result of this incident. Campus Safety did not respond to this incident. Citizenship and Community Standards Committee was notified.

Computer embezzled

On Sunday, Oct. 13, at about 11:20 a.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) stole his laptop computer from his unsecured room at Centennials Towers. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation. Denver Police Department assistance was declined.

Ready, aim, fire.. paint

On Sunday, Oct. 13, at about 5:45 p.m., a DUstudent reported he was struck with a paintball while he was walking in the 2100 block of East Asbury Street. The student was not injured. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation. Denver Police Department assistance was declined.

Bang up job

On Monday, Oct. 14, at about 7 a.m., a Campus Safety Officer reported he damaged a Campus Safety vehicle while driving it in front of Johnson-McFarland Hall. There were no injuries. Campus Safety Management was notified.

Force the lock

On Monday, Oct. 14, at about 10:55 p.m., an RAreported that unknown person(s) damaged the lock to an exterior gate at Nelson Hall. Campus safety responded and completed an investigation. Facilities Management was notified.

Man lurking

On Tuesday, Oct. 15, at about 1:39 a.m., Campus Safety reported a suspicious person in the alley behind the Delta Zeta Sorority House. Denver Police Department responded. The male left the area and went into a residence in the 2300 block of South Fillmore Street.

Brawl and arrest

On Wednesday, Oct. 16, at about 1:45 a.m., Campus Safety reported a group of people fighting in the 1700 block of East Evans Avenue. Denver Police Department responded. A DU student was arrested for disturbing the peace.

Tampering with lights

On Wednesday, Oct. 16, at about 3:04 a.m., a graduate resident director reported unknown person(s) damaged numerous lights and exit signs at Centennial Towers. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation. Facilities Management was notified.

Car sounds stolen

On Tuesday,Oct. 16, at about 11:30 a.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) broke into her personal vehicle and stole the car radio and music CDs while it was parked and unattended in Lot H-1, south of Cherrington Hall. Campus Safety responded, completed an investigation and advised the student to file a report with Denver Police Department.

Vehicle sabotaged

On Wednesday, Oct. 16, at about 12:09 p.m., a DUstudent reported unknown person(s) vandalized his personal vehicle while it was parked and unattended in the 1700 block of South Williams Street. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation. Denver Police Department was notified.
