Former National Security Advisor Richard Allen and attorney Craig Barnes will have a formal debate on war with Iraq tomorrow evening in Sturm Hall.
Allen served under President Reagan’s administration and Barnes is the author of Growing Up True. The moderator for the event will be former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm.
The event takes place at 7:30 p.m. and is free to the public. Sturm Hall Auditorium doors will open at 7 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Center for Public Policy and Contemporary Issues and is the continuing events for Bridges to the Future: American History and Values in Light of September 11th.
The next event in this statewide series of events will be speakers Karen Hughes, former counselor to President George W. Bush and author William Bennett. That event takes place Thursday, Oct. 10.
