Ball to “Take a Bow” Friday

The University of Denver’s Sixth Annual Charity Ball will be held Friday from 8 p.m.-midnight. The ball will be held at The Terrace Gardens. Tickets are $15 and include hors d’oeuvres, dessert and transportation to the event. Tickets can be purchased on Driscoll Bridge.

Awareness week helps to combat eating disorders

As part of Eating Disorders and Body Awareness Week 2002, counselors discussed eating disorders last night in Sturm Hall and provided suggestions to help combat eating disorders. Counselors said that some signs of eating disorders are a marked increase or decrease in weight and compulsive excercising. Special to the Clarion

Foothills accepting submissions

Project Angel Heart helps AIDS patientsOn Mar. 14 “Dining Out for Life” with over 175 restaurants will hold a fundraiser for Project Angel Heart which benefits patients with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. The restaurants will donate 25 percent of sales for the day.
