Foothills, the University of Denver’s literary magazine, is seeking submissions from artists, writers and poets for its annual publication that comes out in May.

Barrett Wolfersperger, Foothills’ editor in chief, said that all types of creative work, including experimental media that crosses the line of traditional literature, are being accepted.

“We want to see the creative talent at DU,” said Wolfersperger.

Submissions can be left in drop-boxes in the Student Involvement Center, English Department, Art Department and the Foothills cubicle in the Commons. Electronic submissions are preferred for literary works at foothillsjournal@hotmail.com.

There is no limit to the number of pieces that an individual may submit. Submissions must be received by midnight on March 16. Wolfersperger stated that everyone who submits a piece would receive a reply near the end of March.

Foothills is published once a year in May and the artist retains all ownership of the work.
