MEDICAL

On Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 2:30 a.m., Campus Safety responded to a call from a staff member who reported that a student in Johnson-McFarlane Hall was in need of medical assistance. Officers responded to the scene and contacted both the student in question and paramedics. The student was transported by ambulance to Porter Hospital.

THEFT

On Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 4:45 p.m., Campus Safety responded to a call from a staff member regarding a vehicle that was broken into while parked in lot 103. Upon arrival, an officer noted that the driver’s side window was broken and that several items had been taken. Later the same evening, it was reported that a second vehicle had been broken into in the

same parking lot.

On Thursday, Sept. 15, at 3:29 p.m., Campus Safety responded to a call from a staff member regarding a shoplifter in the Bookstore. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting staff member who stated that a second person who may have been an accomplice had left the building before they could be apprehended. Campus Safety contacted the Denver Police Department who cited the shoplifter.

On Monday, Sept. 19, at 12:57 a.m., during a routine review of surveillance footage, a Campus Safety officer observed an unaffiliated male who appeared to be attempting to steal bicycles on the north side of Centennial Halls. Officers dispatched to the scene, confronted the male in question and then contacted the Denver Police Department (DPD) for assistance. DPD arrested the male in question due to an outstanding warrant.

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL

On Friday, Sept. 16, at 11:54 p.m., a Campus Safety officer heard loud music coming from the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity house. The officer entered the house, where they observed large amounts of alcohol and games involving alcohol in the basement. The officer spoke with a student
