MEDICAL

On Saturday, Sept. 24, at 2:02 p.m., Campus Safety responded to the Ritchie Center after a 911 call originating from the building. Upon arrival, officers responded to the area where the call was made and spoke with a staff member who reported that an unaffiliated person had sustained an injury while playing hockey. The victim was transported to Denver Health by paramedics.

Theft

On Monday, Sept. 19, at 10:19 a.m., Campus Safety spoke with a student who came to the Campus Safety Center to report that an odometer on their bicycle had been stolen.

The student noted that they had left the bicycle secured to a bike rack near Sturm Hall for approximately 45 minutes on Sept. 15 and that when they returned, the odometer was gone.

On Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 1:16 p.m., Campus Safety responded to a call from a staff member regarding a heat exchanger that had been stolen from parking lot N. The staff member reported that the heat exchanger was valued at just over $11,000 and was seen last on August 18.

Drugs and alcohol

On Sunday, Sept. 25, at 2:05 a.m., Campus Safety responded to a call from Johnson-McFarlane Hall regarding an intoxicated student. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the

student in question and

called for assistance from Denver Cares. The student was transported by the Denver Police Department to The Denver Cares facility.

On Thursday, Sept. 22, at 7:15 p.m., Campus Safety responded to a call from a Sodexo staff member who reported that several people, believed to be students, were striking empty beer bottles with golf clubs at a private residence. The officer called the Denver Police Department (DPD) for assistance. Campus Safety and DPD officers went to the residence in question and spoke with three students, who denied participating in the incident.

TRAFFIC

On Friday, Sept. 23, at 10:22 p.m., Campus Safety observed an unaffiliated party in parking lot #401 back their vehicle into another parked vehicle. The officer stopped the party in question and obtained information regarding the collision. The unaffiliated owner of the second vehicle was notified.

Violence

On Saturday, Sept. 24, at 1:29 a.m., Campus Safety responded to a call made from Centennial Halls regarding a student who had been assaulted outside the building. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the student in question and called for paramedic assistance. The student was transported to Denver Health by paramedics.
