Carli Hansen

Carli Hansen is currently a fourth year student at the University of Denver pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English. Her concentration is in creative writing, specifically fiction, and her minors are in philosophy and psychology. This is Carli's second year writing for the Clarion. Before she was promoted to Assistant News Editor, she served as a staff writer for the News section and a contributing writer for the Lifestyles, Entertainment and Opinions sections. In the past she has also interned at two Colorado newspapers, Watch Newspapers and Ouray County News, and served as Editor-in-Chief of her high school newspaper, the Trojan Tribune. Carli spent her full junior year studying abroad at Queen Mary, University of London. After graduation, she hopes to attend the Denver Publishing Institute and pursue a career in publishing.
