Cheesman Park

There’s something about Cheesman Park that just feels romantic. It’s cleaner than other parks, there are no college students there and it’s a just nice escape from campus that won’t cost you a thing.

Sloan’s Lake

If you have time for a bigger adventure, head to Sloan’s Lake. It’s 8.5 miles from campus (about a 20 minute drive), and your significant other will love sitting with you on a dock watching the sunset. Looking east, you’ll have great views of Denver, and looking west, the mountains will be glowing.

Skiing or Snowboarding

Chances are that you and your significant other haven’t made it up to the mountains alone this season, so make it happen by taking him or her for a couples day. Just try to not let the traffic ruin the romance.

Massages

It’s been a really busy few weeks with midterms, so relieve that stress with couples massages. A good place to check out is Elixir. It’s expensive, but worth every penny.

Movies

Yeah, it’s cliche, but in this busy time of the quarter, a movie can really hit the spot. There’s no need to try to fit in as many activities as possible on Valentine’s Day. Just sit back, relax and enjoy a good flick. Check out this week’s Entertainment section for a list of the best films to watch on Valentine’s Day.
