When it comes to buying clothing, there are infinite places to choose from. However, there are many more options to consider than just mainstream stores in the mall or online. Denver has no shortage of specialty stores and shops where you can find everything from vintage apparel to locally designed clothing. From basic essentials to one-of-a-kind statement pieces, this city has it all.

Topo Designs is a clothing and outdoor supply company founded in Denver. Embodying the Colorado outdoorsman aesthetic, Topo offers gear and clothing for the trail or relaxing at home. However, they take it a step further, cleaning up and refining their products to make them a step above what is offered by their competitors. Materials like heavy flannel and 100% wool are featured prominently in their goods and everything is made in the USA, ensuring quality and consistency in their products.

Products can be purchased online at topodesigns.com or at their retail store on Larimer, built out of a refurbished shipping container. Their physical location is worth stopping by if for no other reason than to talk to their friendly and helpful staff.

Buffalo Exchange

Do you like thrifting but hate having to look through lots of old and used clothes to find that one cool piece? If so, you may want to try Buffalo Exchange. The store sells used and vintage clothing, but unlike most thrift stores, all of the items have been curated and selected individually to target a young and hip audience. This removes lots of stuff you don’t want, leaving the cooler pieces you do. While their prices might be slightly higher than most other thrift stores, it more than makes up for itself in convenience. If you need anything from a crazy piece of vintage clothing for a party or just an old band t-shirt, look no further than Buffalo Exchange.
