Unwanted Party

 Friday, March 7, 2014 at 3:22 p.m. – DCS responded to a call regarding a former Sodexo staff member who was displaying concerning behaviors. Further information pending investigation.

 Attempted Burglary

 Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 10:27 a.m. – While on routine patrol, a DCS officer observed markings on a door to a storage shed near the Academic Office Annex that appeared to be related to an attempted break-in. It did not appear that the break-in was successful.

 Vehicular Collision

 Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 1:15 p.m. – DCS responded to a call regarding a vehicular collision in parking lot 304. Upon arrival at the scene, officers contacted two unaffiliated parties whose vehicles had both been damaged while one party attempted to park next to the vehicle of the second party.

 Medical Assist

 Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 10:02 p.m. – DCS responded to a call regarding a student in need of medical assistance in Centennial Halls. Upon arrival at the scene, officers contacted the student in question and called for assistance from the Denver Police Department (DPD). DPD officers contacted paramedics who transported the student to Swedish Hospital.

 Drug Paraphernalia

 Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 12:09 a.m. – DCS responded to a call regarding found drug paraphernalia in the Ritchie Center. Upon arrival at the scene, officers took possession of the paraphernalia.

 Fire

 Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 6:03 p.m. – DCS and the Denver Fire Department (DFD) responded to a call regarding a small vehicle fire in parking lot 311. Upon arrival at the scene, officers contacted a student who stated that the fire occurred while they were attempting to jump start the battery in their personally owned vehicle. The fire had been extinguished by the student.

 Vandalism

 Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 12:09 p.m. – While on routine patrol, a DCS officer was flagged down by a staff member who reported that a trash can near the Ritchie Center had been vandalized. The staff member stated that they first noticed the vandalism on 03/16/14 at approximately 6:30 a.m.

 Theft

 Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 12:32 p.m. – DCS responded a call regarding the theft of personal items from a locker in the Coors Fitness Center. Upon arrival at the scene, officers spoke with a student who stated that they had locked their belongings in a locker while they sued the facilities and that when they returned, they found that the locker was open and their belongings were gone. The student was advised to file an additional report with DPD.

 Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 11:16 p.m. – While conducting a routine review of surveillance footage, a DCS officer observed a suspicious person at a bike rack near Centennial Towers attempting to break a bike lock. Officers responded to the scene and contacted the suspicious party, an unaffiliated male. Officers contacted DPD, who transported the party in question to Denver County Jail.
